OSU-OREGON UNDER 54
(NCAAF) Buckeyes (OSU) vs. Ducks (ORE),
Total: 54.00 | -105.00 Under
Result: Loss
This total feels disrespectful to the caliber of defenses that will take the field on Saturday in Eugene.

Oregon ranks 6th in success rate allowed, 4th in opponent passing success rate and 3rd in passes defended. The Ducks are also strong against the pass, ranking 11th in opponent passing success rate and 7th in EPA per dropback, which could force the Buckeyes into a more run-heavy approach. That makes sense when you consider OSU has two stud RBs, Quinshon Judkins (60 carries for 468 yards and five scores) and TreVeyon Henderson (42 carries for 337 yards and four scores). QB Will Howard may serve as more of a game manager in this game, avoiding costly mistakes.

Ohio State is also loaded on defense, ranking 5th in defensive success rate and 1st in EPA margin. The Buckeyes won't miss open-field tackles against the Ducks' playmakers and should have success against the run (3rd in rushing yards allowed). This matchup also pits two of the top five teams in Defensive Havoc Rating, as the Buckeyes rank 5th and the Ducks rank 2nd.

Casuals will look at this match-up and think OFFENSE!, but there will be plenty of big-time defenders making an impact on Saturday's highly-anticipated Big Ten battle.
