BAMA -3
(NCAAF) Crimson Tide (ALA) vs. Volunteers (TEN),
Point Spread: -3.00 | -110.00 Crimson Tide (ALA) (Away)
Result: Loss
I'm backing the Crimson Tide in their SEC clash with the Vols.

Nico Iamaleava has struggled with pressure in his face, completing only six of his 46 passing attempts in the 178 dropbacks he has seen pressure this season. He has nearly as many turnover-worthy plays as big-time throws and hasn't passed for a TD since week 4. The Vols are outside the top 100 in Passing EPA (126th in passing downs). I expect the home team to struggle against Bama's man-coverage defense, as the Tide's linebackers are rangy enough to defend Tennessee's playmakers in space.

On the other side, Jalen Milroe is as good as it gets in the college game. He hasn't had a turnover-worthy play on a deep pass since the start of last season, as Alabama ranks top-10 in Passing Success Rate and explosives. He has a legit explosive deep threat in Ryan Williams who will take the top off the Volunteers' defense, which recently lost star MLB and the captain of the D, Keenan Pili, to a season-ending knee injury.

I see enough advantages on Alabama's sideline to wager on the Tide to cover the three-point spread in this SEC showdown.
