Are the Hurricanes due for an upset? It certainly seems that way, after near losses to Virginia Tech and Cal. I like the Cardinals in this spot, especially with a five-point cushion. Their two losses came against ranked Notre Dame and SMU teams, and their offense is elite (top-25 in points scored, total yards and passing yards). They should have plenty of success against a Canes D that has allowed an average of 382.0 total yards over the last two weeks. Cardinals RB Isaac Brown has rushed for 263 yards the last two weeks and could gash a Miami defense that gave up a ton of rushing yards vs. Virginia Tech. Louisville's defense is also tough to throw against, ranking 27th nationally in Dropback EPA per play allowed (-0.075) and 15th in EPA per play (0.159).
