How will Rudy Gobert and his new frontcourt mate Julius Randle coexist? Their first game together is an unideal matchup with Anthony Davis protecting the rim. LA ranked 2nd in defensive rebounding and 11th in blocked shots last season. I don't see Randle moving around to screen and catch and shoot as freely as Karl Anthony Towns did in this offense, which could lead to some ugly empty possessions as they figure things out.

The Lakers' offense was elite last season, averaging 118 PPG (6th). They were 3rd in field goal percentage (49.9%), making 37.7% of their shots from beyond the arc (8th). I expect LA to make an impression on both ends of the court on Tuesday night in JJ Redick's coaching debut, winning straight-up!
