I'll side with Sacramento on Thursday night versus Minnesota.

The T-Wolves came out with a dud performance on opening night vs. LA, turning the ball over 16 times leading to 19 Lakers points. That was a sore spot for Minnesota last season, as it ranked 22nd in turnovers per game. They also had a poor shooting performance from beyond the arc (13-for-41). Minny trailed by double digits for the majority of the game, as the Lakers overcame a terrible night from three-point range (5-for-30) by dominating at the rim (72 points in the paint).

With the extra rest advantage, I trust Sacramento more in this spot. The Kings have a sneaky-good team after adding DeMar DeRozan to the core of Domantas Sabonis, De'Aaron Fox and Malik Monk. The addition of the mid-range king DeRozan boosts a SAC offense that was already tough to defend, ranking ninth in points scored a season ago. I feel confident the home team will score plenty of buckets in the paint and take better care of the basketball than Minny, winning straight-up!
