The Bulldogs are in a very tough spot here. They have not played a game since October! Also, Louisiana Tech has had a couple of key players opt out of the season as a result of this situation with all the time off. North Texas is off of an ugly loss to UTSA but mostly got dominated on the ground. Why does that matter here? Well Louisiana Tech has been held to 99 yards or less on the ground in 5 straight games. The Bulldogs also had Henderson, a RB, opt out. Louisiana Tech is unlikely to be able to take advantage of the North Texas run defense. From a situational standpoint, the Mean Green got trounced by the Bulldogs last season and would like to make up for that here. They also are off the bad loss to the Roadrunners last week too so the set up has many situational edges here. Our computer math model indicates high probability for a home win and North Texas is a very short home favorite here. We'll take it!
