Let’s not forget an average NFL game this year has finished with 43.6PPG so we need this one to be slightly higher scoring than average. The Chargers are averaging 23PPG on the season, the Niners check in at 22PPG. Both are top 12 in total yards per game and average more than 356-total YPG. The Chargers can’t run the football as they rank 28th in rush yards per game at 89.1. The 49ers have the best rush defense in the NFL allowing 86.6RYPG which means the Chargers will be forced to throw a lot which is fine for us Over bettors. LAC is 4th in passing yards per game at 275.1PYPG. We are not entirely sold on the 49ers defense either as they have impressive statistics but they’ve also faced some of the leagues weaker offenses (Rams twice, Panthers, Broncos and Bears). San Francisco has given up 44-points to the Chiefs and 28 to the Falcons in recent weeks. The Niners are going to score here too with an offense averaging 6.2-Yards Per Play against a Charger defense giving up 6.1YPP. The 49ers have scored 23 or more points in 4 of their last five games and LAC has given up 27+ points in 4 of their last seven. We like the added value after the move and will bet accordingly.
