Rangers over Tigers- With the return of Micheal Cabrera the Tigers offense once again looks threatening as they post 15 runs against the Cubs last night and 25 in their two game sweep. Texas meanwhile has won six of seven and has the AL second Wold Card spot in its sights as they closed out a 5-1 home stand. The Rangers Martin Perez (1-2, 5.29 ERA) has put together three straight quality starts and has been a shot in the arm to Texas since returning to the rotation. The Tigers will start Alfredo Simon (10-7, 4.84) is going in the opposite direction as he has allowed four runs or more in nine of his last 10 starts including 21 runs and 36 hits in his last 24.1 innings at home.
