Beavers (+) over Ducks- Oregon State hasn't made the 'Big Dance in 25 years when they were lead by NBA Hall of Fame guard Gary Payton and this season they believe they will get their with five returning starters including Gary Payton II as they look for their best start since 1984-85. The Beavers will have the services of Daniel Gomes who returns from a broken hand. Payton is much like his father as he is the reigning PAC-12 Defensive Player of the Year and leads the team in scoring (16.8), rebounding (8.2), assists (5.0) and steals (2.5). The Beavers also have a coaches son on the floor with Tres Tinkle and will be a big help with basketball smarts. Take OREGON STATE!
