(NBA) Milwaukee vs. LA Lakers,
Point Spread: -5.50 | -110.00 Milwaukee (Away)
Result: Loss
Break up the Lakers! LA actually has won two in a row, which is going against its plan to keep losing to improve its lottery odds. Worry not Lakers management. Your team's mini-streak is about to end with a visit from the Bucks.

The Bucks just aren't about trying to make the playoffs under Jason Kidd. They are going for playoff seeding trailing the Wizards for the No. 5 spot in the East by just one-half game.

Milwaukee went into a little tail spin dropping games to Chicago and Atlanta as it waited for its new point guard, Michael Carter-Williams, to get over his foot injury. Carter-Williams got the rust off making his Milwaukee debut a good one with seven points and eight assists in 17:31 minutes of action two nights ago during a 104-88 home win against the 76ers. That was Milwaukee's 10th win in its last 13 games.

The Bucks' strength are their bench, chemistry and solid coaching by Kidd. The Bucks hold all those edges against the Lakers plus a rare advantage in a comparison of starting lineups.

The Lakers are off an overtime home win against the Celtics and a road victory against the inconsistent Jazz this past Wednesday. Milwaukee is a step above those teams. Before beating those teams, the Lakers had dropped 16 of 17.

The Bucks are 20-7 ATS in their last 27 away matchups. They are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 road games versus the Lakers. The Bucks have won six of the past seven in the series, including the last four.
