Stephen Nover's Friday Total of the Month
(NCAAF) Florida State vs. Boston College,
Total: 46.50 | -102.00 Under
Result: Loss
The Jameis Winston era has passed, but the Seminoles' offense remains highly potent with Notre Dame transfer Everett Golson taking over. He's backed by one of the top running backs in the country, sophomore Dalvin Cook.

Florida State is a perfect 11-for-11 in second-half possessions this season. Golson can take advantage of a young, inexperienced Boston College secondary.

Florida State's defensive strength is its secondary. But Boston College is a running team with a deep crop of very good running back. Boston College has running backs adept at running both inside and outside. The Eagles finished in the top 15 in rushing last season and should duplicate that this season.

Boston College also has a dangerous receiver/returner in Sherman Alston.
