Dallas is in stop-the-pain mode having been blasted in its last two games, losses to Arizona on Thursday and to Boston on Saturday.

Luckily the Stars, 37-17-6, encounter a patsy meeting the Winnipeg Jets, who have the third-fewest points in the NHL. The Stars are 5-1 the past six times playing a foe with a losing record. The Jets have lost six of their past seven home contests and are 2-8 during their last 10 home matchups.

Not only is Dallas highly motivated, but the Stars catch the Jets returning home for the first time since Feb. 11 following four straight road games. So the Jets' focus could be off. Only once have the Jets scored more than two goals during their last six games.

Dallas goalie Kari Lehtonen is 7-1-1 lifetimes against Winnipeg with a 1.95 GAA. That's his lowest mark versus any team.
