(NHL) Kraken (SEA) vs. Devils (NJ),
Point Spread: -1.50 | 100.00 Devils (NJ) (Home)
Result: Loss
This sets up as a kill spot for New Jersey against Seattle. The oddsmaker knows this. That's why the Devils are such big favorites. But I found an even money price laying 1 1/2 goals with the Devils on the puck line, so I'm going that way to avoid the huge juice.

The Devils have had three days of rest and preparation following their impressive road win against the Rangers this past Monday. New Jersey has scored five goals in four of their past five games. The Devils have scored 14 power play goals in their last nine games. They rank No. 1 in the NHL on power play goals percentage.

Seattle is 23rd in killing penalties. Worse, the Kraken carry a heavy fatigue factor. This marks their third game in four days and second in two nights. Seattle played well in defeating the Islanders, 5-2, on Thursday. The Kraken had Joey Daccord in net for the third straight game.

This likely means backup goalie Philipp Grubauer will be in net against the Devils. That's not good if you're Seattle. Grubauer has a 3.62 goals against average and an .862 save percentage in eight games compared to Daccord's 2.50 GAA and .913 save percentage in 19 games.
