Taking RUTGERS here. How motivated is Notre Dame going to be here? These guys were playing in the BCS National Championship last year. Now they are in the Bronx facing New Jersey's own Rutgers! I am sure Rutgers is happy to be bowling, especially close to home and looking to have a winning record and ride into the Big 10 on a high note. ND also loss a pair of coordinators. That can't be helpful, regardless of who lines up against you. My final thought is this. How amped is ND here. If they come out balls to the wall, it will be a blow-out. They are more talented than Rutgers. But I think Rutgers is excited about playing ND, while the Irish might be looking down on the Scarlet Knights. Normally when I dog up, I expect an outright win.
