This is a 10* BOOKIEKILLER on the Padres.

I really like the Rays, and think they're a dangerous club that can essentially win "on any given Sunday." I also really like Yonny Chirinos.

That said, I think this one definitely favors the Padres. San Diego looks to build off yesterday's win and it catches the Rays in a good spot here, as I expect the visitors to get caught "looking ahead" to a day off, before five straight at home, starting with the now floundering Orioles, followed by the pathetic Royals.

Musgrove is the correct call at home here, for a Padres team desperate to get on a win streak.

All things considered, I believe this to be the very definition of "great line value."
