The Minnesota Timberwolves rough season continued with a 124-110 loss at Toronto on Thursday. They were competitive and hung in there for most of the game until the score ran away late in the fourth quarter. I think the fact that the Wolves played hard last night in Toronto then had to travel from Canada and they will come up tired tonight. Detroit had won three straight on the road, covering the spread in each game, before losing 87-77 at Charlotte on Wednesday in a game where Charlotte had 29 FT attempts and Detroit had 8. Pistons HC Stan Van Gundy ripped into the refs and his team after this game. Marcus Morris who averages 14 ppg and 5 rebounds also left the game with a stomach bug. The Pistons also just shot 38% from the field and 14.8% from the 3-point arc. Detroit is 12-12 on the season and 6-4 in their last 10 games. The offense may not be great (99.2 ppg), but the club's 2nd ranked scoring defense makes up for it (96.3 ppg). Take Detroit here on Friday night.
