This is a 10* Western Conference Finals TOTAL OF THE YEAR on the UNDER between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Golden State Warriors.
These are two of the highest scoring teams in the league, but we think the extra few days off between series will prove to be the difference, resulting in a lower-scoring UNDER in Game 1. While the Thunder relied entirely on their offense to carry the load for them this year, the Warriors are adept at both ends of the floor. Golden State took all three regular season meetings against Oklahoma City and clearly it will be focusing on slowing down shooters Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. Both of OKC's stars were phenomenal in the series upset over San Antonio, but it was the Thunder's bench which would put the team over the top and which will once again have to step up big if they have any shot at pulling off another upset. We think this is going to be more of a physical series than a run-and-gun shootout. Note that OKC has seen the total go UNDER the number in ten of 15 as an underdog this year and in three of four when playing with three or more days rest, while GS has seen the total dip below the posted number in six of eight as home fav of 6.5 to nine points. "Rest" leads to "rust" in Game 1, look for this one to sneak UNDER the number once the final horn sounds.
