All three games in this series have so far fallen below the posted number, as St. Louis took Game 1, 2-1, before San Jose bounced back to take the next two 4-0 and 3-0. The Blues are changing goaltenders, but they're going to need to solve the Sharks' defense and goaltender Martin Jones if they have any shot at coming back in this series. It's a great situational play as we can expect St. Louis to put forth its biggest effort as far as trying its hardest to direct as many pucks on net today. After getting shut-out in back-to-back games, it will be a top priority for the visitors. This means that the Blues' defense is going to have to move forward to help with the attack, which of course will leave the visitors open on the back-end at times, giving the opportunistic Sharks' offense even bigger opportunities to capatalize. Note that St. Louis has seen the total go OVER the number in its last three when trailing in a playoff series, while San Jose has seen the total eclispe the posted number in six of its last nine when leading in a playoff series.
