Handicapping the playoffs is much like coaching it. Adjustments from game to game are crucial in producing a winning performance. We base our selections primarily on "situations" and in our professional opinion, all signs point to a much more wide open affair in Game 2 than what we saw in Golden State's victory in Game 1. Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry both struggled from the field and the Warriors still managed to find a way to get the job done. LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love all had decent performances, but the biggest difference in the final outcome was that the Warriors' bench would outscore the Cavs' role players 45-10. It's almost impossible to imagine Curry and Thompson both having poor shooting performances in back-to-back games. And it's just as hard to imagine Cleveland's bench playing so terrible in consecutive outings. Note that Cleveland has seen the total go OVER the number in six of nine this year following a loss by ten points or more, while Golden State has seen the total eclipse the posted number in four of five this season after playing to three or more consecutive UNDERs. We're banking on the "Splash Brothers" showing up and for the visitors to play much better overall and expect this total to eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch.
