This is a 10* NON-CONFERENCE TOTAL on the OVER between the Phoenix Suns and the Detroit Pistons.
We don't subscribe to any single handicapping methodology, but instead feel that being flexible with ones approach is the best way to secure profits over the longterm. As note that Phoenix has seen the total go OVER the number in six of nine this year off an upset loss as a favorite and in eight of 11 after three or more consecutive losses, while Detroit has seen the total go OVER in six of nine against the Pacific and in seven of 12 after allowing 90 points or less.
The bottom line: Both teams have been playing to some lower-scoring affairs of late, which is uncharacterisitc of Suns games. Phoenix doesn't play much defense and pushes the ball from start to finish. Detroit is desperately trying to run down a playoff spot. All signs do indeed point to the OVER as the savvy move in this contest.
