Total: 130.00 | -108.00 Over
Result: Loss
Total: 130.00 | -108.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is a 10* SUPER TOTAL on the UNDER between CS Bakersfield and Colorado State.
We don't subscribe to any single handicapping methodology, but instead feel that being flexible with ones approach is the best way to secure profits over the longterm. Sometimes we keep it simple, while other times we'll take into account numerous different factors, like motivation, scheduling and significant injuries. Recognizing classic "spot bets" is something we always do as well, IE: the "look ahead" spot, the "let down" spot and the "trap" game. One set of criteria which we always use when making our decisions are Against The Spread (ATS) statistics.
This particular play is based on a few different factors:
As note that CSU Bakersfield has seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of its last 12 non-conference contests, while Colorado State has seen the total go UNDER the number in two of its last three in the same position.
The bottom line: Bakersfield advanced by upsetting top-seeded Cal 73-66 on the road and we're expecting the Roadrunners to carry over that smothering defensive play here as well. Colorado State beat the College of Charleston 81-74 on Tuesday to advance. CSU Bakersfield averages just 71.3 PPG, but allows only 63.1. Colorado State averages just 72.8 PPG, while allowing only 67.6. We look for these two defensive oriented clubs to dial up the pressure and expect this one to fall UNDER once it's all said and done.
