(NBA) Indiana vs. Toronto,
Total: 205.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
Total: 205.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is a 10* play on the UNDER between the Indiana Pacers and the Toronto Raptors.
We don't subscribe to any single handicapping methodology, but instead feel that being flexible with ones approach is the best way to secure profits over the longterm. Sometimes we keep it simple, while other times we'll take into account numerous different factors, like motivation, scheduling and significant injuries. Recognizing classic "spot bets" is something we always do as well, IE: the "look ahead" spot, the "let down" spot and the "trap" game. One set of criteria which we always use when making our decisions are Against The Spread (ATS) statistics.
This particular play is based on a few different factors:
As note that Indiana has seen the total go UNDER the number in 21 of 37 this year in trying to revenge a loss against an opponent, while Toronto has seen the total go UNDER in 16 of 25 since the All Star game.
The bottom line: The Pacers are in trouble, they've lost four of their last five, most recently a 110-97 defeat in Memphis on Wednesday. Indiana is in eighth spot in the East and will need to end the regular season on a high note if it hopes to retain that position. Toronto had a six-game win streak snapped in a 110-106 home loss to Charlotte on Wednesday. Indiana will need to control the tempo of this one if it has any hopes of pulling off the upset. In our opinion, all signs do indeed point to the UNDER as the savvy move in this contest.
