AAA's 5-GAME FRIDAY NIGHT DESTRUCTION PASS (BREAK OUT THE BROOMS!)
(MLB) Chi White Sox vs. Detroit,
Total: 9.50 | -120.00 Over
Result: Win
Total: 9.50 | -120.00 Over
Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the UNDER between the Chicago White Sox and the Detroit Tigers.
While neither pitcher instills much confidence, after yesterday's slug-fest which produced 24 runs, we're expecting a bit more of a "duel" on Friday and for this one to fall below the posted number once it's all said and done.
Carson Fulmer: He's 2-1 with a 6.00 ERA. Fulmer has struggled in his limited time in the big leagues, but made a spot start on Sunday against the Giants and looked brilliant, giving up one run over six innings while striking out nine for the victory.
Anibal Sanchez: He's 3-4 with a 7.43 ERA. Sanchez comes in off an outing to forget against Toronto on Sunday, giving up seven earned runs over 4.2 innings of work.
The bottom line: Note though that Detroit has seen the total go UNDER the number in three of its last four against clubs with losing records, while Chicago has seen the total go UNDER the number in eight of 14 this year when on the road with a money line between +125 and -125. We think these teams are all "slugged out" after yesterday's "hit-fest." Play the UNDER.
