This is an 8* TOTAL DESTRUCTION on the UNDER between Utah and Arizona.
We got down on this one early and have a bit of a favorable line, but regardless we think these division rivals battle tough and we look for this one to fall UNDER the number once it's all said and done. The Utes come in off a 54-16 win over San Jose State, while Arizona cruised to a 63-16 victory over UTEP. When these teams met last year, it was Utah that scored the 36-23 victory at home. This game is their confernece opener.
The Utes: Utah is ranked 41st in the country in scoring with 36.7 PPG, while ranked even better defensively, conceding just 15.0 PPG, ranked 26th overall. QB Tyler Huntley had 341 yards, four TD's and an INT last week.
The Wildcats: Arizona is ranked 11th in scoring at 47.0 PPG, while ranked 41st overall on the defensive end in coneding just 19.7 PPG. QB Brandon Dawkins had 155 yards passing and three TD's last week. In all the Wildcats posted 530 yards of total offense.
The bottom line: Note though that Utah has seen the total go UNDER the numer in six of its last ten as a favorite in the 3.5 to ten points range, while Arizona has seen the total go UNDER the number in two of its last three as a dog in the same points range.
