The Cardinals are having a down year and may make themselves at home in the bottom of the NL Central standings. St. Louis has had a couple of bad losses lately, they lost to Oakland, then got swept by the Brewers on their home field. There has not been a home-field advantage this year, as the Cardinals have a losing record at Busch Stadium at 4-6. The Cardinals are starting Kyle Gibson, and he has already faced the Diamondbacks once this season, and it did not go well for him. Gibson gave up four earned runs and a home run in the loss to Arizona, he only struck out two batters over six innings
