The Toronto Maple Leafs are coming into this contest as winners of four of their last six. They've done so scoring a lot of goals, and tonight they will face off with another high scoring team as they host the Vancouver Canucks that have won five of their last six. I think the visitors are looking good to outscore the hosts here.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Prolific Offenses - Both teams rank near the top of the table for goals scored averaging more than 3 goals per game. Their last couple of games have not been different, with the Canucks scoring 30 goals over their last eight and the Maple Leafs getting outscored 32-30 over their last eight.
2. The Maple Leafs D - The Leafs may be scoring a lot, but their results are suffering because of questionable defending. They've allowed 32 goals over their last eight games, and Jonthan Bernier conceded five on only 26 shots versus the Devils Thursday.
3. X-Factor - The Nucks have won 11 of the last 12 meetings overall and five of the last six in Toronto.
Selection: This is a play on the Vancouver Canucks (8*)
