Rogers' Wednesday MAC ATTACK >> 5-0 Run w/ Weekday NCAAF!
(NCAAF) Ball State vs. Toledo,
Point Spread: -18.00 | -105.00 Toledo (Home)
Result: Win
Point Spread: -18.00 | -105.00 Toledo (Home)
Result: Win
The set-up: Toledo broke a two-game slide with a big win over WMU last Thursday and I think it'll carry that momentum over here. Ball State comes in on the other end of the spectrum, off back-to-back losses to EMU and Ohio. In my opinion, this one has "blowout" written all over it.
The teams: Ball State rushed for just 80 yards and threw for only 162 in last week's crushing 52-14 loss to Ohio. QB Riley Neal left in the second quarter with injury and he's out for this one as well.
Toldeo' QB Mitch Guadagni also suffered an injury in last week's 51-24 blowout win over WMU last week, meaning Eli Peters is the "main man." Last week he was 8 of 14 for 107 yards and three TD's.
The pick: Take it for what you will as well, but Toledo is 11-4 ATS in its last 15 against teams with losing records, while Ball State is just 2-6 ATS in its last eight on the road. Lay the points and expect a blowout.
