At 8:00pm ET, my Sun Belt Conference Game Of The Year is on Ul Lafayette. The Rajin' Cajuns are arguably the better team in this matchup. They're playing at home (Cajundome) and they're even getting a couple of points. Appalachian State is coming off a fantastic season (a year where they returned all 5 starters) but they lost every starter from that team. As a matter of fact, 7 members of last year's team entered the transfer portal. This year's Mountaineers have yet to show that they can win on the road. A 31-point loss at Wisconsin was excusable but the Mountaineers also lost by 15 at UNC Wilmington. The start of Sun Belt play offers the Cajuns a chance at a fresh start after a tough offseason (lost star center) and start to the season.
