The Coach's 10* NHL Wednesday SURE SHOT
(NHL) Detroit vs. NY Rangers,

The New York Rangers have found themselves on the wrong side of two consecutive shootouts as they will host the Detroit Red Wings at Madison Square Garden tonight. The visitors are coming off two consecutive losses as well, and I think it's the home team that will be able to break out of their slump in this encounter.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Goaltending - The Rangers started their backup Cam Talbot in Monday's 4-3 shootout loss versus the Blues. That should mean that Henrik Lundquist be back between the pipes tonight. He has dominated the Red Wings over the last three meetings, conceding one goal on 95 shots and shutting Detroit out in the last two games. The Red Wings will probably stick their backup Jonas Gustavsson in net after Jimmy Howard's start last night. Gustavsson has only allowed four goals over his two starts so far this season, but is showing a 2.88 GAA over his NHL career and finished last season with a 2.63 GAA.
2. Road Woes - The Red Wings have dropped four of their last five on the road. History does not favor them in this match-up either, losing four straight to the Rangers.
3. X-factor - Mats Zuccarello missed Saturday's game but is likely to be back on the ice tonight. He scored twice in three games against Detroit last season.
Selection: This is a play on the New York Rangers (10*)
