This is a 10* MOUNTAIN WEST TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the OVER between Nevada and San Jose State.
When the smoke clears at the end of this one, we're expecting this total to eclipse the posted number. From a situational stand point, this play is as about as strong as you could possibly ask for: San Jose Sate is 4-5 and 3-2 in the Mountain West, while Nevada is 5-4 and 3-2 in conference. Both teams still need some victories to ensure bowl eligibility, so we're expecting a wide open affair this afternoon. Last week San Jose State fell to BYU, while Nevada beat Fresno State. This game could very well determine if Nevada reaches a bowl game this year, a loss would end its West Division title hopes and with games at Utah State and San Diego State remaining, it would likely kill its postseason aspirations as well. SJSU won't simply be rolling over today, it may be injured at receiving position, but it still has the firepower to match pace; note that SJSU has seen the total go OVER in two of its three on the road already this year.
