Money Line: -162.00 LA Dodgers (Home)
Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the LAD.
The Mets won the series opener in LA last night, upsetting the Dodgers with their ace on the mound. I expect LA to return the favor here tonight, in what is sure to be another pitcher's duel.
Zack Greinke will toe the slab for the Dodgers, and he's having a phenomenal season. Greinke (6-2, 1.58 ERA) tossed 7 2/3 scoreless innings, giving up just four hits in a win at Miami his last time out. He tossed seven scoreless innings, striking out eight in a win over Texas in his last home start. He's also owned the Mets, going s 2-0 with a 1.89 ERA in his last three versus New York.
The Mets hand the ball to Matt Harvey, who has struggled at times in his return from Tommy John surgery. Harvey (7-5, 2.99 ERA) allowed one run on four hits and two walks over six innings in a no decision versus Cincinnati his last time out. The Mets have lost four of his last five starts on the road, and it's going to be tough to get a positive result here opposite Greinke.
Only the Phillies have fewer wins on the road this season than the Mets.
Take LAD.
