Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the LAD.

The Dodgers are on a roll, coming into Game 2 in Anaheim as winners of 10 of their last 12. They have won four straight against the Angels, and with their ace on the mound tonight, that trend should continue.

Clayton Kershaw will toe the slab for the visitors, and he's on top form of late. Kershaw (12-6, 2.18 ERA) went the distance, allowing one run on six hits and striking out 15 in a 2-1 win over the Giants his last time out. He's really piling up the strikeouts, with a whopping 49 Ks over his last three starts.

The Halos hand the ball to Andrew Heaney, and surely the rookie is over-matched here opposite Kershaw. Heaney (6-2, 3.18 ERA) allowed three runs on seven hits over seven innings in a win over Oakland his last time out. He didn't fare well in his last start in Anaheim, getting torched for eight runs on seven hits over 3 1/3 innings in a loss to the Jays. He gave up a pair of runs on four hits over 5 1/3 innings in a loss to the Dodgers at Chavez Ravine earlier in the season.

The Angels are batting just .235 since the All Star break, and only Atlanta and Miami have scored fewer runs during that span.

Take LAD.
