The Mariners will look to salvage a split in the series finale of this home series versus Texas this afternoon, and I like their chances with King Felix on the mound.

Hernandez (16-8, 3.65 ERA) allowed three runs on six hits, striking out nine over eight innings in a win at Oakland his last time out. He's 10-5 with a 3.12 ERA in 15 starts at Safeco this season, and he's owned the Rangers going 3-0 with a 2.18 ERA in three starts.

The Rangers hand the ball to Derek Holland, who is coming off consecutive dominant performances. Holland (3-1, 2.37 ERA) allowed one run on three hits over eight innings in a 2-1 win over the Angels his last time out. Prior to that he tossed a complete game shutout, striking out 11 at home against Baltimore.

Robinson Cano has been swinging a hot bat since the All Star break, and he's hitting .387 with a home run and five RBIs lifetime versus Holland.
