Rogers' Game of the Week (10* NHL) >> 5-0-1 Wednesday! 4-2-1 Thursday!
(NHL) NY Rangers vs. Columbus, 11/18/2016 2:00 PM, Score: 2 - 3
Money Line: -123.00 NY Rangers (Away)
Result: Loss
The set-up: The 13-4-0 New York Rangers look to complete their four-game road trip with a perfect record Friday as they visit the division-rival Columbus Blue Jackets. New York bounced back from a 5-3 home loss to Vancouver on Nov. 8 in a big way, allowing a total of four goals while scoring 14 in wins at Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. Winning at Nationwide Arena in Columbus will be no easy task though, as the (8-4-2) Blue Jackets have won their last six home games, to tie the franchise record, after beginning the season with consecutive home losses.

NY Rangers: New York has won eight of its last nine contests and owns the NHL's most potent offense, leading the league with 72 goals, while also owning the best differential at plus-34. The Rangers routed the Canucks 7-2 on Tuesday in Vancouver for their third straight victory and head coach New York coach Alain Vigneault noted, "It was our third game in four nights and our guys really paid the price. We have to heal our wounds here a little bit because we are a little banged up and we are going to get ready for Columbus on Friday." The team is backstopped by goaltender Henrik Lundqvist (9-4-0), who owns a 2.24 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage.

Columbus: The Blue Jackets try for a club-record seventh straight victory at home tonight against the Rangers, with goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky (8-4-1 with a 2.22 goals-against average and .933 save percentage) expected to be in net. Captain Nick Foligno leads the Blue Jackets in scoring with 16 points but the club has received a tremendous contribution from rookie defenseman Zach Werenski, who has registered 13 points in 14 games. He's tied for third among all NHL rookies in scoring and fourth among league blue-liners, one point off the lead.

The pick: Yes, the Blue Jackets have won six straight on home ice but the Rangers lead the NHL in road victories since the start of the 2013-14 season with 77. New York is a 10* play.
