*10* Texas Bowl SIDE WINNER on Texas Tech.

The LSU Tigers are a big favorite over the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the Texas Bowl tonight, but I think Texas Tech is going to be a handful. The Red Raiders won their final two games of the season, beating Kansas State at home, and upsetting the Longhorns in Texas. LSU faded down the stretch, losing three of it's last four.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Quarterbacks - This is where Texas Tech has an undisputed advantage. Brandon Harris failed to impress, completing just 53 percent of his passes for 1,904 yards with 12 TDs and five INTs during the season. He was picked off five times in his last four starts. Patrick Mahomes threw for 4,283 yards with 32 TDs, and 14 INTs, and he also ran for 484 yards and 10 TDs.

2. Situational/Motivational - A win here would be huge for Kliff Kingsbury and the Red Raiders, while LSU doesn't have a lot to gain from this game. Their fans expect them to playing in a New Years Eve game, competing for a national championship.

3. X-Factor - The Tigers are 0-4 ATS in their last four bowl games.

Selection: This is a play on the Texas Tech Red Raiders (10*)
