We cashed in easy when fading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1 as they took a 31-17 beating by San Francisco, but I'm taking the points on the Bucs here against Carolina Thursday night.

No, Tampa Bay is not good and I am well aware Jameis Winston threw three interceptions in Week 1, but the team is 7-1-1 ATS in its last 9 games following a double-digit loss at home and the underdog 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings between these two teams.

Note that the Panthers took a loss in their Week 1 contest as well, and it was not as close as the 30-27 scoreline would suggest. Cam Newton completed only 25-of-38 passes for 239 yards and an INT and was sacked three times. I'm just not convinced this Panthers team should give a touchdown to anyone in the league right now, and I recommend taking the points on the visitors in this matchup.
