The Los Angeles Angels are coming off back-to-back wins at Oakland, but they're just 3-9 in the last 12 meetings in Houston and I think they'll struggle here in the opener of a three-game set at Minute Maid Park.
The Astros will send Doug Fister (7-3, 3.26) to the hill. He's 6-0 with a 2.35 ERA since the beginning of May and the Astros have won each of his last nine starts. He allowed three runs on five hits and four walks in an 8-6 win at LA on May 29, not factoring in the decision. He's posted a 2.74 ERA in 10 career starts against the Halos.
