Major
(NFL) Washington vs. Tennessee,
Point Spread: -3.00 | 105.00 Tennessee (Home)
Result: Loss
Quarterback Jake Locker and the starters are likely to play roughly 20 snaps before Ryan Fitzpatrick and the other backups enter the game. Defensively, look for a more aggressive, attacking style as coaches Jerry Gray and Gregg Williams test different looks. Washington Coach Mike Shanahan said he expects his starters to play 10-15 snaps.

Teams are generally very vanilla in their schemes, but the Titans will not be. This is not likely to faze long-time veteran head coach Mike Shanahan as he can focus on how his players react.

Not only will the Tits likely go with their front-line players longer, but the Titans are currently seven deep with NFL-caliber receivers. Look who they match up against.

There is an excellent chance that the Redskins will open with three rookies in the secondary against the Titans, thanks in part to injuries. They are: corner David Amerson who will replace DeAngelo Hall, sitting out after hurting his ankle earlier in camp; safety Bacarri Rambo, the starter from the first day of camp; and safety Phillip Thomas, who would start if Brandon Meriweather does not. It is unlikely Meriweather would play considering he only returned to full work Monday after a week off because of his right knee.

Robert Griffin is out for the Skins. This game means too much more for disappointing Jake Locker to show reasons for optimism. The Tits roll.
