Major
(NCAAF) Boise State vs. Fresno State,
Point Spread: -4.00 | -105.00 Fresno State (Home)
Result: Loss
This somewhat reminds us of our MNF winner on the Bengals. Boise State has had the upper hand on Fresno in recent years, but Boise State was also the better team. Now Fresno is the better team, they are playing at home and they have their Charles Atlas chance to finally get revenge on the bully.

It is the first year since 2005 that Fresno State (2-0) enters with a better record than the Broncos (2-1) and a higher ranking. The Bulldogs are No. 25 in the USA Today poll, while Boise State has fallen out of the rankings.

That also happens to be the last time the Bulldogs beat Boise State, winning 27-7.

Boise State is overvalued because of past glory and if it were not for the names on the front of their uniforms would be getting about six.

The Bulldogs are on an all-time run in their home stadium, averaging 48.3 points and 526.3 total yards while going 8-0 straight up in a season-plus under coach Tim DeRuyter.

Quarterback Derek Carr was limited by a sports hernia throughout 2012 and is able now to move much more freely within the pocket to elude a pass rush and make a play. The Bulldogs also can move the pocket, which they couldn't do a year ago.
