This is one of our rare opportunities of where we say listen to the statement the oddsmakers are making. The only undefeated team is getting more than a touchdown. This screams at us like Alabama laying 9.5 or 10 to undefeated Notre Dame.

This applies to the side and total: In the last four of these matchups, the high-scoring offense has put up at least 30 points and, more importantly, won three of the four games. The Chiefs had been seeing a steady diet of opposing backup quarterbacks in recent games. In Tennessee Titans Ryan Fitzpatrick, Houston Texan Case Keenum, Cleveland Browns Jason Campbell and Buffalo Bills Jeff Tuel, they had opposed quarterbacks who were put into the lineup only that week either for injury purposes or because the regular starter had been in effective.

True Campbell is much better than Brandon Weeden, but he is a lifetime journeyman.

The Broncos have had 51 pass plays with at least 10 yards after the catch this season, most of any team in the league. As good as the Chiefs pass defense has been this season, this is an area of concern. The Chiefs have allowed 5.8 yards after catch per reception this season, ninth most in the league, despite facing none of the top six teams in total YAC this season.
