Steelers at Falcons
(NFL) Steelers (PIT) vs. Falcons (ATL),
Total: 43.00 | -112.00 Under
Result: Win
We've seen past Mike Tomlin Steelers teams have an "under" look even when Big Ben was at QB. But it's unmistakable now that Russell Wilson will start the season at QB (at least we think; Russ appeared on the injury report for this opener due to ankle issues) after impressing no one in preseason, much like his recent seasons in Denver. Russ isn't making plays on the move like he used to do regularly in Seattle, but those days seem gone. Justin Fields is ready if needed in the bullpen, but preseason work suggests neither is yet comfy in their new surroundings. Meanwhile, Raheem Morris takes over as HC of the Falcs, certainly not based upon his previous failure a decade ago in Tampa Bay. New QB kirk Cousins is also back from serious injury last season, but the Atlanta O accomplished nothing in the preseason, and hardly convinced the aging Cousins comes out firing. Lastly, remember that Tomlin's recent marks include 21-14 "under" past two seasons, and "under" 7-3 last ten as visitor. Play Steelers-Falcons "Under"
