Once in a while the Clippers get involved in higher-scoring games like on Sunday vs. the Nuggets (126-122 LA win) but for the most part have played at a controlled pace this season. Such was the case in the first game vs. Portland back on October 30 when the Clips were stunned in Inglewood by a 106-105 score, when LA couldn't stop Anfernee Simons (who scored 25) down the stretch. That was another Clippers "under" however which is 13-7-1 in LA games after the opening-night OT loss to the Suns. The Blazers play at a pace dictated by their opponents, recently running with teams like the Pacers and Mavs but held beneath 100 in recent games vs. the Thunder and Rockets (twice).
