Basketball isn't much in DC these days, but hockey, that's different! The Caps have been a rousing surprise this season as they bop along with 35 points, right on the heels of the Devils in the Metropolitan Division. Washington has continued to win the past two weeks despite Alex Ovechkin being sidelined with a broken leg. No problem, as the Caps have scored 20 goals across the past four games, all wins, as C Dylan Strome (already 34 points) looks on his way to a career season. So does young C Connor McMichael, en route to his best season and already on 24 points. But to shortchange the Sharks would be a mistake, as they have played everyone competitively the past month and are just off of beating the Kraken two in a row.
