There's too much offense on the floor for this one not to threaten the "over" tonight in College Park. Jake Diebler's Buckeyes now have two losses for the Buckeyes, but both teams that beat OSU, Pitt (on a last-second triple in OT) and Texas A&M, are potential Big Dance entrants, so no shame in either setback. The other narrative for OSU is its offense, scoring at a better than 85 ppg clip and hitting better than 51% from the floor. Vet G Bruce Thornton (16.4 ppg) has really picked up the pace the past two games vs. Green Bay (24 points) and Pitt (scored 25). Meanwhile, Kevin Willard's Maryland is scoring almost 87 ppg and hitting 50% from the floor, with 6-10 frosh C Derik Queen (16.5 ppg) living up to the hype. lots of offensive competence on both sides in this Big Ten battle.
