Radford at NC Central
(NCAAB) Highlanders (RAD) vs. Eagles (NCCU),
Point Spread: -2.50 | -118.00 Highlanders (RAD) (Away)
Result: Win
Radford has bitten off more than it can chew a couple of times vs. Pitt and Kentucky-conquering Clemson, but the Highlanders have won their other seven games. And NC Central won't be confused with ACC entries anytime soon. Radford recently slowed down go-go IPFW but has earlier proven it can play uptempo if needed, scoring almost 90 pg in earlier wins over William & Mary, Old Dominion, and Evansville. Transfer Gs Jarvis Moss (via Davidson; 16.6 ppg) and juco G Brandon Maclin (10 ppg) have fit smoothly into the mix for HC Darris Nichols, whose team is also shooting a very acceptable 37% from beyond the arc. Meanwhile, the Eagles have been mostly outclassed vs. D-I opposition, and two of their three wins have come vs. overmatched lower-tier foes. Play Radford
