Not sure who saw this coming earlier this season, but it's the Desmond Ridder Bowl at Allegiant Stadium as the former Falcon QB from last season faces his old team, only tonight as the starter for the Raiders. Injuries to Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell have thrust Ridder into the Las Vegas lineup but he hasn't looked too much worse than either in his short stints, which reflects what we saw from all three last year as well. The Raiders have faced a couple of stingy defenses in the Chiefs and Bucs the past two weeks but expect the offense to have a bit easier sledding tonight. On the other side, we suspect Kirk Cousins and the Falcons offense are due for a breakthrough after a tough four weeks in which Atlanta didn't win and Cousins, very uncharacteristically, didn't toss a TD pass.
