Davidson at Temple
(NCAAB) Wildcats (DAV) vs. Owls (TEM),
Point Spread: 1.50 | -105.00 Wildcats (DAV) (Away)
Result: Win
Not inclined to lose the scent on an apparently improved Davidson after two losses to ranked teams. It seems more likely that Matt McKilliop has the Wildcats well-positioned to make some noise in the A-10, with a functional offense scoring nearly 78 ppg, and good shooters abound for an offense hitting nearly 48% from the floor and 35% beyond the arc. A third-year starter, 6-10 F Reed Bailey (18.2 ppg), has emerged as one of the loop's top scoring threats, and there is balance in this offense with another go-to scorer in 6-5 wing Connor Kochera (16.3 ppg). An emerging weapon might be 6-4 frosh G Roberts Blums, who has scored double digits three times in the past four games. Meanwhile, Temple has lost to all of the fully-competent foes it has faced as the Owls lean heavily (too heavily?) upon New Mexico transfer G Jamal Mashburn Jr (21 ppg). Play Davidson
