Johni Broome might be out for a bit for Auburn with his shoulder issues, but if that's the case, we might have already found out how the Tigers respond in his absence. Replacement Chaney Johnson stepped seamlessly into the breach earlier this week vs Georgia State and scored 26 as Bruce Pearl's team rolled 100-59. The offense, an 88.1 ppg machine thus far, didn't seem to slow down much in Broome's absence. A middling Sun Belt foe would offer less resistance than a Big Ten opponent, but Purdue shoots 50% from the floor and better than 40% beyond the arc and has enough offense to chase the scoreboard in Birmingham.
