Here we go again with the Nats, trying to get back to .500 as they were on Tuesday before getting blanked by Slade Cecconi and the D-backs bullpen. Tempted on the Run Line with Washington but after the offense has sputtered the past two days, and the straight price not being too prohibitive, will just go with a traditional Money Line here as a 4-3 type of result would not surprise. Except we think the Nats can score a few more off of the wildly erratic Ryne Nelson, in whose last three starts (not counting relief appearances) on the road he's posted an 8.36 ERA and 2.00 WHIP. Meanwhile, most of MacKenzie Gore's recent starts (in four of his last five outings, he's allowed just one run each time...all Washington wins) would put the Nats in fine position to finally get back to .500.
