It' hasn't been a good few weeks for either the Tigers or Tarik Skubal. For the latter, he has been hit hard across his past two starts (6.97 ERA) in games Detroit lost, but there also wasn't much Skubal could do to change those results as the Tigers offense didn't score a run in either game. Which illuminated another Detroit issue in its current 5-12 skid that ahs dropped it from contention in the AL Central. Even with his recent struggles, not many opposing hurlers might rate an edge on Skubal, but the Phils' Ranger Suarez has posted better numbers (10-1, 1.75 ERA, 0.89 WHIP), and from the looks of this matchup after last night, it's advantage Philly.
